Cara (she/her) is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who believes therapy is a place for us to develop a safe and authentic relationship to heal. She received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. Cara loves therapy and seeing clients become more of who they want to be. Cara holds a relational, caring, and non judgmental relationship with her clients. Considering her patients through a psychodynamic, attachment-based framework is important for her. Cara has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds with a particular focus on those with multi ethnic identities.
Prior to becoming a therapist Cara worked as a registered dietitian and loves to work with people who struggle with their relationship with food and body image. Cara enjoys reading, being with her family, is a big fan of musical theatre, and Food Network Television shows.
